The students received instruction last Friday about their States Menu Project. We will have in-class time this week, Wednesday and Thursday. Anything not completed in class is the students' responsibility to complete at home.

Math

We are finishing our first module. The students will be assessed on Wednesday, October 10th. Please review the module at home. Hot topics: rounding, adding and subtracting large numbers, place value, and tape diagrams.

Science

We are learning about the microscope. We will carry out this lesson through next week, so the vocabulary test will not be until next week.

We are working on the notion that small actions can create lasting good. Our "Ambassador Program" with the other classes will begin this week.
