English Language Arts

We will not be having any spelling words this week or next. We will resume in January.

Grammar - We will wrap up our skill practice with homophones.

Writing - We will be revising and editing our Christmas Gift paragraphs. Then, we will type them in the computer lab later on in the week. The students will bring a copy to share with you.

Reading and Social Studies - We will be reading a story from Reading from A to Z called, Holidays Around the World. We will be discussing how other countries prepare and celebrate Christmas. This will prepare us for a activity that we are doing with the second graders on Friday, December 14th.
