Hello March and Happy 4-Day School Week!

Please remember that we do not have school on Friday, March 9th as the teachers will be at a Diocesan Professional Development Day.

On Wednesday, March 7th in the morning, we will have Field Day. 4A students will need to wear GREEN and 4B students will need to wear BLUE. Students will have recces, lunch, and the afternoon as a regular school day. Please pack a regular school uniform to change into after field day is over as their clothes will be wet from the fun morning.

English Language Arts

There will be a spelling test on Thursday, March 8th.

We will continue to work with adverbs this week. There will be a quiz on this skill on Thursday, March 8th.

We will discuss the skill of story structure by using the story of Hercules, a myth, as our focus. There will NOT be a reading test this week due to the shortened week.

Social Studies

Last week, students began the research process on their assigned Native American tribe. This week we will review the basic tools in Google Slides and students will begin to create their presentation.

Math

The students will understand the difference between prime and composite numbers. They will also be able to list all the factors of a whole number. We will continue to work on double-digit by single-digit division with and without remainders.

Geometry

We will be looking at parallel lines, perpendicular lines, and begin using a protractor to measure angles.

Religion

This week, we will begin practicing for The Living Stations.

We will pray The Stations of the Cross as a school community on Wednesday, March 28th at 9:30 am in the Church. Please join us for this beautiful prayer.
